Cheese anyone?
I always thought that life would be more interesting after graduation. I would get a job and experience the 'adult' life (I do not mean it in any 'wrong' way). Ever since I graduated, I am still doing the same routine... Wake up, breakfast, study, surf the net, lunch, study/surf the net, dinner, watch tv, sleep, and the circle continues...
Where's my cheese?
3 years ago I told myself that I would be fine completing this degree and will just take whatever life will throw at me then and now I'm telling myself to give myself another 3 years to get qualified then continue my quest to find my... cheese.
I am just enjoying the journey to find it although there are days that would be more fulfilling than just sitting in my room in front of the computer. I will find it!

Pending
I haven't been actively updating my blog every since I stated studying for my finals up to receiving my final result. That's because everything in my life have been pending since then.
My visa application
I'm applying for my PR application and there are still a few documents that I still got to hand in. So, got to photocopy a few things, call up a few peoples... etc. Hopefully they won't deny my application for being overweight.
My CPA program
Got to pass them my academic transcript to them ASAP.
My job application
Finish my resume and find an entity that is willing to finance me.
My life is starting to get busy once again.

Anyway Friends
A little white dress with ABCs all across the front. I remember I came home one evening after a marathon of kids’ parties and whatnot and Little Miss Maya was not quite ready to take her little dress off and get in the bath so we went to her room and hung out on the floor and started talking. And out of nowhere, she told me that when she grew up, she wanted to marry me. So I said, “Why?” I asked her, I said, “Why me?” And she looked up at me and she said, “Because, Daddy, you are my anyway friend.” Now at the time I didn’t know what that meant so Maya had to explain to me that an anyway friend is the one person in your life who, no matter what they say or do, no matter what they’ve been through with you, they love you anyway. So my sincerest hope is that for Maya, Dink, and for Dink, Maya, is that anyway friend. Because no matter how old you are or what your responsibilities, if you have love, real, unconditional love, I think you can make it. So, to my anyway friend and her anyway friend, may you not only make it but enjoy it.

Complicated
That question caught me by surprise. It is not like I'm deeply in love with someone for the time being but it is just that... Am I suppose to be? Although I have to admit I do have a crush on someone (JAY CHOW) but that doesn't mean I have to be in love... right?
I do answer this kind of question by stating, "I'm concentrating more on my career now" or "I'm still enjoying my single life". Although those statements may sound like I'm just giving excuses for not being attractive to catch any guys attention but it's true (sad... but it's still true).
This does not mean I won't give love a chance... I still won't mind if a tall, dark skin, handsome, macho guy come looking for me (leave me a message if you are interested).
So...
Am I in love?
No.
Looking for love?
Maybe...
In the mean time, I'm just enjoying life as it is.

Disappointed
But how different is that for others? Like what they would do for us, we can nag all we want, make jokes to cheer them up, spend more time with them so they won't feel lonely, eat ice cream! We can only do so much to ease YOUR pain but only YOU can choose to change and make YOURSELF feel better.
It hurts to see a friend facing a problem for so long knowing that I can't do anything to make you feel better. So, I'm being selfish and asking you this... Please be strong.

Sailing
Blame it on fate, destiny, providence, or whatever you want to call it. The world is unfair and nobody said it to be otherwise.
All she can do is to cherish the moment that were spent together. Hope that she'll be able to find her soul mate and that is by putting her thrust once again on fate.

Chile Quake
I heard about the quake in the news but little did I realise how terrible the situation in Chile was until I went through my deviantART mail where a few of the people I'm following are there. (Pyromaniac) I'm glad to know that they are fine. however, there are still a few people missing and hopefully they are doing well too.
Keep everybody in Chile, Argentina, and the Polynesian islands close in your thoughts. In fact, just keep all your brothers and sisters close in your hearts. Seems like we all need it more than ever these days. ~*lily fox ~

Stupid Cupid
It's the time of the year again where the cupid arrow pierce through the heart without leaving anyone to heal it back... That would be the case to all the single ladies~Put your hands up~
Sometimes it seems more sensible for cupid to be aiming for the head instead of the heart as a relationship is more than just a feeling. There is so much emotions in play and when it is over the wound takes gazillion time to heal itself.
Someone forgot to catch the butterfly that is still fluttering inside.
This is just another emo blog due to insomnia.

Musical
Hollywood version of bollywood movie from my POV would be musical. They too will start singing and dancing in the middle of a conversation or when they are thinking on their own but there will still be certain degree of grooving.
So, next time if you feel like expressing yourself. Try dancing and singing. I'm sure to join in if I'm around.

Fire Alarm
So, picture this:
A person who is used to the loud fire alarm and who don't even bother to go out to check whether is there a real fire stayed in a hostel where the fire alarm is not loud and doesn't sound like an alarm (it goes tik... tik... tik...). So, the fire alarm went on while this person still happily stayed in her room packing her stuff so that she could tour the University.
When she open the door to leave her room, 2 fireman and the housing manager passed by while giving her a why-she-still-here look. Still not realising what's going on she locked her door and leave.
When she open the door to leave her hostel, a few people were staring at her hostel so she too decided to stand with the crowd.
"What was she thinking? If it was me, I would have left the room without taking any of my belonging."
"WHO?" Only then she realised... "That was the fire alarm?"
Fortunately, the alarm was triggered because her housemate decided to cook and forgot to turn on the air ventilator, nothing was burn.
Ignorant is bliss?

Restart
So, that's why I redecorated my blog and changes the title to make it looks more mature(it's the 'age' factor) but I can't guarantee that the content will be more interesting. AND how I wish I could look like the girl in my heading.
I'm hoping that none of my friends have forgotten me while I'm being a hermit up in the mountain. Will try my best to meet up with you Malaysian.

Middle Child Syndrome
I'm suppose to be studying but was more interested searching randomly about
ANYTHING that just pop up on my mind. So here is how my brain work:Lazy to study -> Why? -> *Start searching for any excuse to blame my laziness on* -> Family? Nope. They are not as lazy as me -> Mentally ill?Too early to tell -> Syndrome? Hmmm..... Wait, I've heard of second child syndrome... -> Google it...
The middle or second born child often have a feeling of not belonging to the group. Being in the middle can make the second child feel insecure. They may lack the drive and motivation that is so prevalent in the first born. The second child may instead look to the first born for direction. This may also make the second born feel out of place because they aren't over achievers. Instead, the middle child usually just goes with the flow.
Second born children are often loners. They may have trouble latching on to a person in a relationship. They may also have trouble making decisions in school and in a career. Second or middle borns are usually artistic and creative, but don't work well under pressure. They have a history of starting projects and never finishing them. When choosing a career, most middle or second children would be best suited for something where they could freely express themselves, have flexible hours and frequently changing projects.
TA-DA!!!
The excuses for all the laziness, stubbornness, lack of interest to anything in life, etc.
Finally, I can now study in peace...

Cooking
Mainly because the people I love are there and also because of MALAYSIAN FOOD! Although Malaysian food can be found in Perth (there's a Malaysian and Singaporean restaurant just opposite the place I stay but the owner is an Indonesian) but the taste is totally different. There's also a 'market' place in Perth called the 'Spencer Village' where a few hawker stall selling Asian food and drinks (cendol, ais kacang... oh... they even have durian drinks).
So, the only way to get the real Malaysia deal here is to... D.I.Y! Yup... The good thing is so far I haven't burn the kitchen yet and I'm proud to say that I have not rang the fire alarm (a big achievement for me). Although I have been here for 1 and a half year but I've only cooked for about 2~5 times. This is because I am lucky to know people who can cook such as my ex-housemate, Min, Christine, Celine, VicKee and How Yee.
After another semester I'll be living on my own (that is, if I can find a job here) so I have to start learning to cook for myself. I'm proud to announce that I cooked dinner today! 3 dishes : broccoli and crab meat, char siew and steam egg. Sadly the broccoli was tasteless maybe because I did not use enough salt but the char siew and the steam egg was a success. I was happy with the result and after everyone was ready for dinner then I found out that...
I haven't cook rice...
!@#$!!@#%!#@!
Not again...

Is-land
Every time I look at messages left in FaceBook the first thing that comes into my mind is "attention seeker". I'm sure there are lots of friends out there who goes online to find out what you had been up to and leaving messages is a way to show them your gratitude as they willingly, regardless of time and the amount of assignment they have, goes to your message to leave a comment and to point out that they "like this". I still think "ATTENTION SEEKER".
BUT to think about it... Am I not doing the same thing? I have a blog to write down anything I want and some random people or friends who stop by thinking there's something interesting to read only to find out that all I did was a tag or a meaningless emo blog. I'm also constantly changing my personal message in MSN. Weirdly, the only thing that I can't do is leave a message in FaceBook... But I do upload pictures and do crazy poses for my friend's camera because I know they will end up in FaceBook anyway... So, am I different from my attention seeking friends?
There's a saying "No man is an is-land" so I guess since we're in a modern era where anyone around the world can just tell another person "I had fish and chip for lunch" = "No man is a FaceBookless-man"
