Middle Child Syndrome

I'm suppose to be studying but was more interested searching randomly about
ANYTHING that just pop up on my mind. So here is how my brain work:

Lazy to study -> Why? -> *Start searching for any excuse to blame my laziness on* -> Family? Nope. They are not as lazy as me -> Mentally ill?Too early to tell -> Syndrome? Hmmm..... Wait, I've heard of second child syndrome... -> Google it...

The middle or second born child often have a feeling of not belonging to the group. Being in the middle can make the second child feel insecure. They may lack the drive and motivation that is so prevalent in the first born. The second child may instead look to the first born for direction. This may also make the second born feel out of place because they aren't over achievers. Instead, the middle child usually just goes with the flow.

Second born children are often loners. They may have trouble latching on to a person in a relationship. They may also have trouble making decisions in school and in a career. Second or middle borns are usually artistic and creative, but don't work well under pressure. They have a history of starting projects and never finishing them. When choosing a career, most middle or second children would be best suited for something where they could freely express themselves, have flexible hours and frequently changing projects.

TA-DA!!!

The excuses for all the laziness, stubbornness, lack of interest to anything in life, etc.

Finally, I can now study in peace...

Cooking

I MISS MALAYSIA!!!

Mainly because the people I love are there and also because of MALAYSIAN FOOD! Although Malaysian food can be found in Perth (there's a Malaysian and Singaporean restaurant just opposite the place I stay but the owner is an Indonesian) but the taste is totally different. There's also a 'market' place in Perth called the 'Spencer Village' where a few hawker stall selling Asian food and drinks (cendol, ais kacang... oh... they even have durian drinks).

So, the only way to get the real Malaysia deal here is to... D.I.Y! Yup... The good thing is so far I haven't burn the kitchen yet and I'm proud to say that I have not rang the fire alarm (a big achievement for me). Although I have been here for 1 and a half year but I've only cooked for about 2~5 times. This is because I am lucky to know people who can cook such as my ex-housemate, Min, Christine, Celine, VicKee and How Yee.

After another semester I'll be living on my own (that is, if I can find a job here) so I have to start learning to cook for myself. I'm proud to announce that I cooked dinner today! 3 dishes : broccoli and crab meat, char siew and steam egg. Sadly the broccoli was tasteless maybe because I did not use enough salt but the char siew and the steam egg was a success. I was happy with the result and after everyone was ready for dinner then I found out that...

I haven't cook rice...

!@#$!!@#%!#@!

Not again...

Is-land

"Looking forward to Monday" "Wishing you were here" "Uni break!"
"I'm hungry"
"Hello Friday!" "is thinking about the thing that she know that you think that she in thinking"
"Is emoing"

Every time I look at messages left in FaceBook the first thing that comes into my mind is "attention seeker". I'm sure there are lots of friends out there who goes online to find out what you had been up to and leaving messages is a way to show them your gratitude as they willingly, regardless of time and the amount of assignment they have, goes to your message to leave a comment and to point out that they "like this". I still think "ATTENTION SEEKER".

BUT to think about it... Am I not doing the same thing? I have a blog to write down anything I want and some random people or friends who stop by thinking there's something interesting to read only to find out that all I did was a tag or a meaningless emo blog. I'm also constantly changing my personal message in MSN. Weirdly, the only thing that I can't do is leave a message in FaceBook... But I do upload pictures and do crazy poses for my friend's camera because I know they will end up in FaceBook anyway... So, am I different from my attention seeking friends?

There's a saying "No man is an is-land" so I guess since we're in a modern era where anyone around the world can just tell another person "I had fish and chip for lunch" = "No man is a FaceBookless-man"

Routine in love

There's no way you could prepare for it. Emotion breakdown happen every now and then. Not to mention the probability of PMS (not only girls), checking out another hot guy/girl/jay chou, the "I love you more than you"etc...

One things for sure... We're happy to find it and sad when we lose it. No matter how much it hurts to breakup, the moment that was share together can never be replace. So, if there's a possibility that one can be together, I'll say "go for it". But if the 'moment' is gone, then just be glad that it happen. Time is the only way to heal a broken heart.

Sorry for the Emo blog but it's just something I feel like writing. Maybe it's because of the gloomy weather or just a recent event that I wish I could help to make it all better.

The upside of sadness

It's a weird feeling to be in a room of different emotions. Someone telling you about a recent problem that they are facing while the other happily chatting about how they were not really prepared for their paper but were manage to pass through it.

What would you do if you were in that situation?

Me? I chose to continue playing any games that I can get my hand on and just listen. I admit. I'm the world worse adviser. If you are facing a problem and come to me for advice, it would be equivalent to drinking booze till your brain numb and forgotten that it ever happen. So, if you're looking just for an extra pair of ears to hear your problem, then I can be the one.

I'm stupid

It's official that the older I get... the smaller my brains get.

I'm not gonna mention what I did today to come to that conclusion but one things for sure.. I've learned a VALUABLE lesson and I am NEVER gonna repeat it again.

Will try to blog more often from today onwards but as this was mentioned a few times in my previous blog, there will be no gurantee... In fact, i don't think I have any active readers left for this site.

My creation

What does this look like to you?

Out of 6 of my MSN friends.

Alfred said it looks like a blob of tar...

Kim Hong commented it is either ice cream or squid sauce fried rice...

While the rest agreed it looks like shit...

To be honest, that cake is those "instant cake", where all you need to do is mix everything according to the instruction behind the box (which is exactly what I did) and you'll have the end result which is shown on the front of the box...

P.S: It tasted good...

File

Who would have guessed that the next time I update my blog would be the time of the semester where I'll be filled with assignment and tests. Somehow writing a few short paragraph on my "not so interesting life" sounds far more interesting than doing a 10 page managerial report on BMW.

I just need you guys(those few loyal readers that I have left) to give your point of view on the way I file my documents. Firstly, meet my home-made accounting file:

~Ta~Da~
I woke up at 4am before my finance test to do this...

It can be expended, and rest assure that it will be sufficient to fill in all the lecture notes and tutorial stuff in it.
See... It is 2 finger in width.

The reason why I mentioned about this is because my friend, Sze Kai, is making a fuss out of this matter every time he sees me taking out material for class. To resolve this, he had donated his files to me but till now, I'm still using my home-made file.

So, should I stick with my old system or take the time to actually arrange my documents?

Walking

Making a change is as easy as walking,

All you need is the effort to take the first step forward.

Makan

Since I won't be staying with Min (my housemate who had to be my cook last semester) this year, I had successfully found other victims to be my cook. However, I still miss eating broccoli and chicken.

long bean, egg and "black" chicken

I will try to cook for myself... I will...

Back in Aust

Reached back down-under a week ago. This time around, I got my little bro around to entertain me. Kinda got used to the weird sounds of Aussie's animal as I've stop commenting about the sounds that they make, as for my bro it is all new to him thus he kinda remind me of my former self. Planned to do lots of stuff this semester and hopefully everything will run according to plan. The only thing new with me this semester is I chopped my hair!

The "make-up" face is thanks to my webcam but my face definately got sunburn. It is summer here! And in case some of you are wondering, Yup, I did gain weight. Getting fit is my mission in life.

nothing to write

Somehow I don't have the inspiration to blog anymore...

I'm assuming it's because I don't have any assignment to do for now.

Just writing for the sake of keeping me bloggie alive...

A club

Me friend, Celine and I have decided to form a club for people without social skill... It's because we found out that we actually enjoy spending celebration time with people that we know rather than hanging out with a huge bunch of 'stranger'. (Although to kinda think about it that's how people make friends... I mean, we won't know another person until we talked to them, right?)

So, I apologise if I were to be sitting quietly at a corner if you guys were to asked me out... I'll try my best to enter the conversation (if I understand what is the topic or the language that you guys are using) and forgive me lameness too...

Will be catching up with some old buddies of mine this month and I'm looking forward to it...

For those who are still holidaying ~ Me envy ya!!!
